Wichita man dies enroute to bedside of ill wife
In Wallace Kansas on September 18 a Wichita man C E Carlson 58 was killed while driving toward Manitou Colorado to reach his seriously ill wife. An unidentified hitchhiker also died when the car struck a concrete bridge railing. Carlson's son C E Carlson Jr 28 and Kenneth Clemens 18 of Macomb Illinois were injured. The crash victim was about 30 years old.
