Kansas University Union Hanklet vending room opens for students
A new Hanklet room beside the Music and Dramatic Arts building offers 110 seats with a lounge and vending machines for coffee breakfast rolls milk soft drinks ice cream candy and cigarettes. Service begins at about 9:30 a.m. for rolls and drinks and 10:30 a.m. for lunch items. The room, open with the building, may run around 24 hours and is funded by the Union with a five year payback.
