Incentive request for downtown condos advances
The Public Incentives Review Committee recommends approval of a mixed use condo project on Vermont Street in downtown Lawrence. The 5 story building would include retail space offices and 12 condos with underground parking and one affordable unit. Developer Bob Schumm seeks a 10 year 75 percent property tax rebate and sales tax exemption valued at about 1.3 million, reconsidering a December denial.
