Multiple Lawrence road projects create month long detours
Lawrence lays out a series of construction plans this week. Iowa Street and Ninth Street improvements will reconfigure lanes and reduce speeds with completions by late summer. Wakarusa Drive reroute is set to open mid to late September. Road work on West 26th Street and Ponderosa water main also proceeds with overnight lane allowances and daytime closures. Through traffic remains but delays expected.
