Pakistan army reports 72 militants killed in Bajur clashes

Pakistan's military said it killed 72 militants over three days of fighting near the Afghan border in the Bajur tribal region. The army also reported eight soldiers dead as ground and air attacks continue to flush out Taliban and al Qaida remnants in the area. Maj. Murad Khan spoke to the AP as residents described unusual resistance and ongoing clashes with militants.
