Hugh Steele died yesterday afternoon at his home on south Tennessee street following an operation. He came from Scotland at age 18, traveled the country, then settled in Lawrence with wife in Iowa. Survived by two children Wm. G. Steele and Jean Steele Finney of Washington. funeral Thursday at 10 from the house.
