Fr W Jaedicke longtime Lawrence business leader died at noon at his home at Eighth and Indiana. He had been ill about two weeks after visiting daughters in Anaconda Montana. His son Francis met him in Kansas City and he remained lucid and active nearly to the end, keeping up with daily affairs and duties at the store. He was eighty years old and regarded as a dependable citizen who contributed to Lawrence’s growth.
