Hydrologic Data Access and Display System debuts in Kansas
Nadeem Shaukat of the Kansas Geological Survey created HYDADS for IBM-AT PCs to graphically store and display water resource data across Kansas basins. The system offers quick access to basins streams pumping wells and contaminated sites and can show counties cities and more with longitude and latitude if provided. About 18 to 20 inquiries per week come from users and HYDADS may be expanded to other states and datasets beyond hydrology.

Hayden delays comment in Owen donations probe
