Trump taps KU professor for USS attorney nomination
President Donald Trump announced he nominated University of Kansas law professor Stephen McAllister to be U.S. Attorney for Kansas. McAllister, a constitutional law professor and former solicitor general for the Kansas attorney general, expressed gratitude for the nomination. U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts praised the pick, citing McAllister’s federal and state court experience and his administrative tenure with the EU faculty. The nomination goes to the U.S. Senate for confirmation.
