Lawrence man robbed near Sixth and Iowa hotel
A 22 year old Lawrence resident reported being attacked and robbed while walking to his hotel near Sixth and Iowa streets. Police said two unidentified men assaulted him at 4 18 a m at the Howard Johnson on West Sixth Street, taking his wallet as a female acquaintance left. The victim had a cut on his arm and declined medical aid. no suspects are identified and the investigation continues.
