Veritas routed as lack of fundamentals cited in loss
Veritas coach Doug Bennett lamented a lack of fundamentals after a 42–0 defeat to Topeka Cair Feraval. The Eagles managed 91 yards and threw two interceptions, including a 22 yard pick six by Jarod Kay. Freshmen-heavy lineup and reserves entering late in the second quarter left Veritas unable to capitalize. The team faces St Joseph Mo Christian next, aiming to improve after a tough night.
