Former KU stage manager regains sight after blindness
The 85 year old former Kansas University stage manager Lenn Bickle describes becoming blind in his right eye six years ago after a torn retina and a cataract in the left. He spent 30 years at KU as stage manager for University Theatre and was the first Kansas state certified theater stage manager in 1957. Now living in assisted care near Sixth and Indiana, he reflects on decades of service and guiding students.
