Florida moves to ban offshore shark feeding dives
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission approved a plan to ban shark feeding for interactive dives after lengthy testimony. The 6 to 1 vote signals intent to curb a practice linked to divers attracting sharks with bait off Broward Palm Beach and the Keys. A final rule could come in November with a public hearing and a subsequent vote next year.
