Wrecks Continue In Area After Holiday
A spate of area accidents over Labor Day week end left three people injured when a car left U S Highway 24 59 and overturned about 8 13 miles northwest of Lawrence. The driver Paul Kenneth Ingram and two passengers, Karl McCullough and Mrs. Lois Ingram, were hospitalized with serious injuries. A second collision on 11th and Mass streets injured Minnie C Kramer, who was treated and released. Oil on a manifold caused smoke but no fire. A third crash near a rural intersection north of Lawrence damaged two cars. one vehicle left the scene. Drivers A H Clark and Mrs Max Rolin faced about $200 in damage.
