Douglas County Courtrooms to Undergo 750000 Remodel Plan
Douglas County District Court will start a 750000 phased remodeling of six courtrooms and the Pro Tem Court and jury assembly room. KDOT targets Thanksgiving open for SLT east leg
Kansas Department of Transportation spokeswoman says the east leg of the South Lawrence Trafficway remains on schedule to open before Thanksgiving. The project cost about 130 million dollars and connects Kansas Highway 10 to U.S. 59 over six miles, with an exact opening date not yet set.
