The Douglas County free clinic relocated from a mobile home to a 6000 square foot space opposite Lawrence Memorial Hospital. With better visibility and more services, visits rose 116 percent in 2010 to 6937 and are expected to reach 10795 this year. Patient Christina Johnson credits the clinic for life-saving care. The Douglas County Medical Alliance hosts its seventh annual fashion show at Van Go Inc. on Thursday.
