John Shepard of Apco service station 1206 E 18th St reported Sunday the theft of a radio television several car tons of cigarettes and about 100 in cash from the station totaling 560.50 value. Charley Simmons of Simmons Texaco 601 Vt St reported Sunday the theft of 160 in cash and checks from the station Saturday night with no forced entry.

Funeral services will be Tuesday for Russell R. Camp 62 who died Saturday at his home 905 Emery Road. A 10 a.m. service will be at Trinity Episcopal Church with graveside services at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Deaverdale Cemetery New Haven Connecticut. He lived in Lawrence since 1945 worked at the Kansas University Museum of Natural History and was a member of the Episcopal Church. He is survived by a daughter Priscilla Camp Excelsior Springs Missouri a son Peter Nelson Camp Guilford Connecticut and a sister Hazel Icaza Providence Rhode Island. Memorials may be given to KU Medical Center for heart research.
