Tragic hunting accident claims 14 year old Glen Cluchy
Glen Cluchy of Eudora was fatally wounded by his own 16 gauge shotgun during a Sunday squirrel hunt on Edith Clark’s farm southwest of Eudora. The gun discharged, entering his foot and lodging in the abdomen. Henry Mathia of DeSoto witnessed the event and aided his friend’s father and a doctor. Glen died before they arrived. He was born October 2, 1920, and survived by his parents, two sisters, and five brothers.
