Court Dates Set in Zoning Case Against Bodle Sales Lot
Judge James Paddock set Sept 18 as final filing date for the city to submit briefs in an injunction suit over Bodle’s recreation vehicle sales lot at Sixth and Kasold. The case, heard in Douglas County District Court Division II, concerns alleged violations of city zoning and site planning rules. An on site inspection followed the hearing with city attorney Gerald Cooley and Bodle’s counsel Robert Fairchild confirming use of a temporary building for sales and repairs. Bodle testified he lives in Tennessee and works as an electrician while maintaining that permanent sales facilities are not yet required. a permanent building has seen little work since 1971.
