Locally grown theater in EMUL Theatre gains fresh actors
Horror theatre in Lawrence features unique character development created by fellow cast members. Halstead calls it locally grown theater as writers Born and others note actors often debut new roles in their own shows. Performances are quick to write and rehearse then tested live to see if they work. Todd Schwartz adds the unpredictable thrill of untested pieces.
