Dr Andrew Jackson Smith, 82, dean of Leavenworth physicians and surgeons, died today in a Leavenworth hospital after a stroke at home last Thanksgiving. Born August 17, 1863 in Olathe he studied at the University of Kansas and Kansas City medical college. Survived by brother Fount Smith of Tonganoxie and sister Miss Emily Smith of Long Beach.
