Tragic Drowning of Child in Santa Fe Cisterna

A nine year old girl, Felgina San quist, drowned in a cistern beneath a rear room after a family gathering. The child had returned from a funeral and, while others sang in the front, fell through a loose board covering the cistern. Her body was recovered later. the family, recently moved from Keokuk, is poor and accompanied by a railroad worker father. The child was buried the following afternoon.
