Two KU Students Face Court On Theft and Vandalism
KU sophomore Mark C. Jarvis and KU junior Joan A. Berol were charged in Municipal Court with petty larceny and vandalism after Lawrence police stopped their car at Stratford Road and Iowa Street. They allegedly stole a watermelon and a sign from Fred Grob and had 16 broken auto antennas in the vehicle. The items were valued at 25 dollars for the sign and 0.75 for the watermelon. Both were released on 200 dollar bond.
