Milford Bryan of 775 Locust Street was arrested Saturday night by Night Chief John Callahan and Officer John Ingalls on possession and transportation of intoxicating liquor. Two pints were found in the toolbox of Bryan's motorcycle in the 700 block of Massachusetts Street. In police court he pleaded guilty to possession and not guilty to transportation. trial on the latter charge set for next Monday with bond set at $200. Sentence on possession postponed until Monday.

Washington October 29 AP Herbert Hoover received a giant two panel postcard eight feet long and four feet wide cut from a Washington fir. The card bore greetings from the Hoover Gurtis club of Washington University at Seattle and over 2,000 members signed it with special ink. The board was mailed first class and insured for 10000 with postage totaling 16 dollars.

Albert Mann a laborer about 50 was injured perhaps fatally around 2:30 this afternoon after being struck with a glass jug by Jack Conn of 92 Delaware street in a garage at that address.
