EPA proposes indirect source rule to curb pollution growth
The EPA backed new rules banning growth of shopping centers ball parks highways airports and other sites attracting large traffic if they violate clean air standards. NRDC accuses the agency of delays and White House interference while EPA says the OMB is only routinely consulted and only Alabama Florida and Guam have approvable state plans so far.

Denver Drug Hearing Continued to Nov 28
A preliminary hearing for Michael G. Martin Jon K Lowe and Richard MacKenzie charged with illegal possession of 394 pounds of marijuana was continued in Denver County Court to November 28 by Judge L Paul Weadick after Martin’s new attorney entered the case. The California and Kansas men were arrested August 2 by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation which said the seized marijuana has a street value of about 250000 dollars.

Car Crash Demolishes Vehicle At Eighth and Rhode Island
Robert D. Haun 23 of 1515 W Seventh collided with a pickup owned by Auto Glass Co at 8 am Thursday at Eighth and Rhode Island. No injuries were reported. Haun was eastbound and turning left. the other vehicle was westbound. Damage to the pickup estimated at $500. The Haun car was a 1972 model owned by Richard Ezell.
