People to People program at KU grows with American membership

Joyce Hall and Lawrence and Kansas City dignitaries attended a program update detailing expanded activities for the KU International Club. Plans include 12 industrial tours in Kansas City and 15 farm tours for international students, with three trips already completed. About 300 Lawrence residents volunteered as host guests and American participation surpassed half of the nearly 400 members, marking a significant community effort.
