Trial delayed in Kline sex discrimination lawsuit
TOPERA AP reports the sex discrimination suit against former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline is postponed as lawyers finalize a settlement. The case stems from Kline firing Jackie Spradling in 2007 while he was Johnson County district attorney. Spradling alleges retaliation for complaints of sex discrimination. The judge postponed the trial to January. Johnson County has settled with the county and will donate 7500 to Safehome.
