Douglas County faces a storage squeeze as a record soybean harvest and strong corn yields fill elevators. Local agent Bill Wood notes yields may reach 40 to 70 bushels per acre for soybeans and about 92 bushels for corn, with prices remaining uncompetitive despite the bumper crop.
