Trick or Treat for America's Toothfairy fundraiser aid for dental health
Douglas County Dental Clinic and Dr. Jim Otten lead a campaign to raise $5 from 1,000 participants for the National Children's Oral Health Foundation. Schools, PTOs, and local businesses set up collection boxes to fund prevention, education, and care for 1,663 low income children last year. The program aims to raise awareness that pediatric dental disease is the leading chronic childhood illness and to build local oral health zones with community partners.
