In Norman on Oct 21 the Oklahoma Sooners led Kansas 13–0 at halftime and added a third scoring drive in the third quarter to win 15–0. Key moments featured Beryl Clark’s passing, Jennings’ receiving TD, and multiple line plays as Oklahoma controlled the tempo in near 90 degree heat with 20,000 spectators watching.

The War Department plans to close the Army's command and general staff school at Fort Leavenworth February 1. Courses will be condensed to complete the year for current officers while staff are reassigned for maneuvers.
