Two Kansas students charged in Park 25 looting case
Two 20 year old men were arrested by local police Tuesday on illegal possession of marijuana and stolen property after allegedly looting a burned apartment at Park 25 complex. They were released on $2000 bond. Police recovered items including a TV a radio and a telephone and seized marijuana tabs during the search. An earlier $250 theft at the complex office was reported. investigators say the cases are not related.

School board approves new policies and upgrades
The McLOUTH school board adopted a students right and privacy policy and a counseling policy to join district policies for the current academic year after review by principals.
