Edward Hope 70 of 1900 Vermont street died yesterday at University of Kansas hospital Kansas City after long service with Barteldes Seed since 1903. Born in Lawrence in 1874 to immigrant parents he lived in Lawrence all his life. He married Lela Wright in 1899 and had three sons and two grandsons. Active in fraternal groups he held Masonic honors and was recently awarded a 25 year button. Funeral arrangements set at 83 o'clock tomorrow at Masonic hall with Acacia lodge conducting graveside rites at Memorial Park cemetery.
