Wreck Affects Sioux City Train Collision Near Des Moines

Westbound Sioux City passenger train on the Omaha road collided with the Des Moines train early this morning. Several passengers were injured and the rear sleeper of the Des Moines train was wrecked. The Des Moines train stood on a switch waiting for the Sioux City train to pass when the accident occurred. The impact telescoped the sleeper. injuries included facial wounds and bruises. Local physicians cared for the injured until the wreck was cleared and traffic resumed.
