Tuition costs rise 12 percent at public colleges
New York AP reports that public colleges and universities post the largest tuition increase in eight years. Four year public tuition and fees rise to 92,187 with room and board pushing a state resident bill to 14,403 overall. Private four year colleges see a 7 percent rise to 10,017, while top private schools list high charges such as MIT Yale and Harvard Radcliffe.
