A federal appeals court may rule this week on the Justice Department request to fine Mississippi Governor Ross Barnett $100,000 for his roles in blocking James Meredith's enrollment. The court warned a decision maybe delayed past Wednesday as it reviews briefs from the DOJ and Mississippi.

Citizens Fail To Catch Thief In Dearborn Bank Heist

Indictments Name Two Congressmen
Two Democratic congressmen Thomas F. Johnson of Maryland and Frank W. Boykin of Alabama were indicted on charges of receiving compensation for interceding on behalf of an accused mail fraud operator.
