A B52 bomber and KC135 refueling tanker collided Thursday night near Hardinsburg Kentucky causing a fiery blast visible for miles. Four crewmen died four were missing and four survived with minor injuries. The bomber carried a conventional nuclear weapon found intact with no radiation danger. Wiring Blamed In Area House Blaze
A fire two miles southeast of Lawrence destroyed the two story home of Mr and Mrs W P Sharp early Wednesday. Wiring is blamed for the blaze which tore through the dwelling as Sharp slept downstairs and escaped through a window after flames blocked the stair.
