Volunteers build observation tower at Baker Wetlands
Westar Energy Green Team volunteers are assembling a two story observation tower east of the Discovery Center at 1365 North 1250 Road. The lower deck will host small outdoor classes and birdwatchers will enjoy views of wetlands and wildlife. The project uses recycled lumber and aims to improve the visitor experience.
