Native of North Carolina he had lived in Lawrence since coming here about thirty years ago and was a lifelong Methodist and member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church. Funeral arrangements will be conducted by Rev H W Hargett as soon as possible with details pending. He worked twenty eight years for the Santa Fe railroad as express agent and baggage messenger. He was a member of several fraternities and left a sister and a few daughters, John _____, etc.
