Bush Warns Americans of Vigilance After FBI Warning
President Bush urged continued vigilance as FBI warnings warned of possible new terrorist strikes. Al Qaida threatened punishment for leaders including Bush and Blair, while White House dismissed the threats as propaganda. Anthrax cases rose with five new positives at American Media Inc and a positive letter to a Microsoft office in Carson City. Bush briefed by video with advisers from Camp David on anthrax probes and Afghan war, planning a Shanghai trip to meet Putin and allied leaders at APEC.
