Lawrence Students Beat State Test Averages In 1993 Results
Lawrence students scored above state averages in math and reading on the 1993 tests but trailed last year. At a Monday school board meeting, Sandee Crowther said the district is above state levels in all areas and urged trend lines to rise. Tests occurred in March and April with third graders at the 80th percentile in reading and seventh graders also at 80th.
