Lawrence August home sales dip but market remains healthy
Lawrence housing activity fell 15.1 percent in August 2014 from a year earlier with 90 total unit sales and 81 existing home sales down 14.7 percent. The average existing home price dropped to 188,662 while new homes averaged 293,956. Contracts rose 2.4 percent to 85, and active listings stood at 414, about 4.6 months’ supply.
