NAACP calls FBI probe into doll lynching at Lowndes High
In Valdosta region Georgia three white students hung a blackened doll from a schoolyard tree and scrawled KKK in a restroom. The NAACP urges the FBI treat it as a hate crime while Lowndes High suspends the students and transfers them to the alternative program. Local officials call it a stupid prank and stress teaching moments amid race relations at the school.
