South Junior High and Southwest Junior High, both 6-0 this fall, meet at 6:30 p.m. at Haskell Stadium for the mythical city junior high football championship. Earlier, at 5:15 p.m., SJHS will dedicate a sign honoring former coach Ralph Wedd at the SJHS field. Wedd led the Cougars from 1968 to 1984 and his son Dirk Wedd now coaches Lawrence High.
