Media blitz fuels undecided voter in Pittsburgh ads
In Pittsburgh, Al Gore and George W. Bush dominated local coverage as campaigns target undecided voters. Gore’s cinema-like photo with Cowher and calls to release oil reserves contrasted with Bush’s tax-cut messaging and local wage concerns.

Vote auction site revived after sale raises worries
The parodic Voteauction.com site, created by New York student James Baumgarten, was sold to Austrian Hans Bernhard who relaunched it. Chicago officials have written to state and federal attorneys asking for action to shut the site down in Illinois. The platform lists 521 Illinois residents signed up and selling their votes for eight thousand five hundred dollars.
