Hope Plaza Project Aims to Meet Its Name on 11 Acre Site

A 124 unit low and middle income housing complex is planned on an 11 acre First and Michigan site under option from FHA. The project would cost about 2 million to 2.4 million, with 400 residents and financing from HUD and a mortgage company insured up to 40 years by FHA. Housing would include one to three bedroom units with rent subsidies and income qualifications. Local sponsors include First United Methodist Church Jewish Community Center and Ballard Community Center.
