Seniors seek new paths beyond retirement
Howard and Marika Stone, aged 65 and 58, founded 2young2retire com after leaving publishing and writing. They challenge retirement as a fixed phase, noting 80 percent of baby boomers plan to work past age, and the AARP report shows an ongoing shift as change accelerates. The Stones pursue post career roles, Marika teaching yoga in Lenox and Howard advising via life coaching, while the site gathers retirees’ stories and postretirement opportunities.
