Two Residents Injured In U S 40 Collision East Of Legion
James M. Kerby age 44 and his daughter Millie Ann 17 of 1931 Miller Dr were hurt in a two car crash on U S 40 just east of Legion aires and admitted to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. American Girls End Quick Tour in London
Two 16 year old American girls, Janice Hawkins and Martha Schendel, are sent home from London after a world tour dream ends. They vanished from Cleveland on September 17 and appeared in London the next day. Police handed them to the U S Embassy. They deny planning to meet Beatles. They had about 1400 dollars left.
