Kansas editors named to hall of fame
Two Kansas editors, Dolph Simons Sr. of the Lawrence Journal-World and Henry B. Jameson of the Abilene Reflector Chronicle, were named to the Kansas Newspaper Editors Hall of Fame during the William Allen White School of Journalism ceremony at KU. $2 Billion Sought For Kansas Road Projects
The Kansas Department of Transportation said 107 highway improvement projects proposed by local officials total about 2 billion dollars, with only around 600 million available for systems enhancement.
