Pier Work Resumes After 2 Day Strike
In New York the Port of New York saw work resume as 25,000 longshoremen returned to the piers after a two day strike. Major liners including the America and Mauretania were in port with hundreds of workers needed. Cleveland landlubber ends ill fated voyage by feet wet
