Reinhold Schmidt to open KU Faculty Recital Series
KU faculty bass-baritone Reinhold Schmidt will inaugurate the 1962 Faculty Recital Series at 8 p.m. in Swarthout Recital Hall Murphy Hall. Local Man Held After Narcotics Arrest
Carroll Crouch 32 of 819 Conn St was arrested early this morning by federal state and local officers on a charge of attempting to obtain narcotics on a false prescription. Audrie Batchelor 20 of Kansas City Kan is charged in the case. A jar of possible marijuana and a heroin needle were found in his apartment. Crouch had been under observation since May and was to be turned over to Wyandotte County officers.
